Course Overview
This live surgical masterclass provides a detailed, step-by-step demonstration of total laparoscopic hysterectomy and robotic hysterectomy, delivered by Mr Amer Raza, CCMIG Director, and Mr Jeffrey Ahmed, Consultant Gynaecologist.
The session features live operative cases, including a laparoscopic hysterectomy commencing at approximately 13:30 GMT (timing may vary due to theatre workflow), followed by a second case at approximately 15:45 GMT.
Faculty provide real-time commentary covering operative technique, pre-operative preparation, energy devices and their safe use, laparoscopic suturing, and vault closure techniques, alongside practical tips and troubleshooting strategies. The session concludes with a live question and answer discussion with the operating faculty.
