Course Overview
The Chelsea Surgical Academy Online Course is a fully modular, stepwise online laparoscopic training programme designed to develop practical laparoscopic skills through structured theory, video-based learning, and assessed hands-on practice.
Each module includes theory and focused video lectures with a strong emphasis on practical laparoscopy. Progression through the course is competency-based: assignments must be completed and graded by the Chelsea Surgical Academy Faculty before delegates can progress to the next module.
The course is designed for use alongside an at-home laparoscopic trainer. Delegates must have the ability to record their laparoscopic training and submit assignments via the online platform. Clear instructions for recording and submission are provided in the Primer module.
(The Chelsea Surgical Academy laparoscopic trainer is available for purchase separately.)
